What's up? Your weight

Last one from the Daily Apple I swear:

17 Reasons You're Not Losing Weight

Effective, healthy weight loss isn’t only due to the simplistic calories in, calories out paradigm. Nor is it solely reliant on diet and exercise. It’s everything – it’s all the various signals our body receives from the environment that affect how our genes express themselves and thrive. How we approach the subject matters, too. Our mood, our methods, our temperament. Our conscious decisions and our willpower. It’s setting good habits and expunging bad ones. Most of all, it comes down to keeping our genes happy by providing an environment that approximates evolutionary precedent.

  4. They make a great point on the pantry purge. Zack made the mistake of telling me a couple of weeks ago that it is okay for me to have a small piece of raw cheese every now and then. I ran out and bought the most delicious raw cheddar under the guise that I'd just have a small amount every couple of days. Yeah, I ate half a pound in a single weekend, mainly because it was just there and available. No more cheese in the house. Sad (but for the best). Clearly I have no willpower either...another point mentioned.

  5. HEY! I just saw on Mark's Daily Apple they're having a first ever conference in sunny Southern California - a weekend of working out, learning form Mark himself, and fabulous "Primal" (close enough to paleo) feasts. Rudy - if you need someone to go from our box, I would do that for CFC. I am a team player.
